Pocket RPG

Hello and Welcome!

Pocket RPG gives you a set of charts and tables for solo play, all on 2 pages! It is important to note that there is no setting included here, just rules and tools. It is black and white for easy printing, and in a default Corbel Light font, so you should have no trouble opening it up in Microsoft Word and adding your own tweaks. Both the PDF and the MS Word file are included in the downloads.

To play, you will need a deck of playing cards (with the Kings removed), a pencil and paper to use as a character sheet, and perhaps a notebook if you'd like to record your adventures.

The goal of the project was to fit everything you need to create characters and stories worth exploring, all onto one sheet of paper. The style of play is more exploratory than heroic, meaning the dangers you encounter may be too much for you to handle immediately and you'll have to find a clever solution, or come back to them later.

Included in the downloads are Pocket GM Condensed, a 2-page collection of the tables I use the most, and Pocket RPG, which includes a set of rules and a selection of the most necessary tables for solo play. These tools can also be used to play with a group, or might come in handy for a GM who needs a little extra help writing adventures.
